In the mean time, if you have any questions at all about us or anything that we do, please get in touch with us on our contact us page.
Allow me to introduce myself:
My name is Kevin, or PK as most call me, and I am the pastor of Calvary Baptist Church. My family and
I have been here since April of 2005, and we very much love our role here.
In the summer of 1995, at the ripe old age of 16, I answered the call of God on my life to preach the gospel and pastor the Lord's churches. Little did I know what all that would hold for me in the years to come. Soon out of high school I married my amazing wife, Nicole, and we settled in and began to start a family. Now here we are, ten years later, and God has blessed us with two incredible boys, Isaiah and Micah.
Shortly after the birth of our first son, the Lord led me to a church plant in Altus, Oklahoma. Our time there was richly blessed by the hand of God with many coming to know Christ as Savior, many discovering His will for their lives, and many new friendships established. And even more incredible than all of these things, I was allowed to learn more of who God is and what He wanted from my life. My eyes were opened to the greatness of who He is and how He works, and I am forever grateful for my experience there.
But soon I began to realize that it was time for me to move from there, the only problem was that I had no idea where I was supposed to go. In God's impeccable timing, the door was opened for us to come to Calvary, and what an incredible experience this has been for us. Again we have seen the Lord work in the lives of people. Again we have built deep and lasting friendships. And again God has made Himself wonderfully known among us. We are extremely excited about what the future holds for us here.
I am very blessed to be able to serve God in this capacity, and I take my responsibilities very seriously. God has called me to equip His saints for the work of the ministry, so that, together, we can build up the body of Christ and make a significant impact on this world for His Kingdom! In my eyes there is no greater way to spend my life.
Thank you for taking this time to get to know me a little better. I ask only one thing in return: the chance to get to know you better. I would love the opportunity to meet you in person. Stop by the next chance you get and let's get to know one another. God may have brought us together for a reason!
